Business can contribute to creating a better world. And it does. That goes for mainstream business, which gradually becomes more aware of its social and environmental responsibilities and of its impact on society.

This comes on top of all those businesses that create products and services or design processes that address specific societal challenges – thereby contributing to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The proof of the pudding lies in engaging their stakeholders and in the benefits that the beneficiaries really reap, without the businesses creating negative externalities elsewhere.
